We have made it big!
Our flowers from one of our most whimsical weddings last year have been featured in the wonderful bridal 'bible' that is Wedding Flowers magazine!
The couple, Anna and Rakesh, worked so hard to get all their details just picture perfect and as you will see from the, ahem, FIVE PAGE SPREAD it was well worth it.
The wedding rook place at the delightful Bluebell Railway at Horsted Keynes, West Sussex with the reception at a dear little village hall nearby.
Massive thanks again to the legend that is Joanna Brown of Browns Photography (www.brownsphotography.co.uk) for submitting the wedding shots to the editor. She makes magic!

The flower associated with the fourth wedding anniversary is the geranium. Geranium.
I was asked today to create a bouquet in celebration of a fourth wedding anniversary. Something 'funky'.
Funky worries me. I am not down with the kids and am pretty low down in the cool stakes. I am far more comfortable with quirky. Quirky implies free reign, which I looooove!
If I were a better florist, I would also know all the flowers associated with every anniversary, but I don't. So I am gonna find out. Please feel free to kick my ass about it next time you swing by.
So heres what I made.

South Lodge Wedding Fair
We made stuff. Lots of stuff. Pretty things. And piled them high in the Mole Mobile the night before.
Then the snow came. Hmmm, what to do, what to do?
Lets go anyway.
So we did. We set up our stand, met lots of nice people, chatted to lots of brides and grooms to be and OH HAPPY DAY were placed right next to a wedding cake exhibitor who had lots of samples. She was such a nice lady even if she did ask that if I wouldn't mind leaving at least a few samples for and not hoover up the lot. It was delicious.
Our stand had a woodland theme complete with moss and live creatures ( unintentional) and created a lot of interest ( intentional)
Enjoy the pics!
