Hot hot hot!!!

So thrilled to receive professional pictures from a wedding we carried out last year. There is often never enough time to take more than a hurried snap when doing wedding flowers so I am always delighted to get the real deal.

Dannii and Colin chose a palette of hot coral peonies tempered with yellow freesia and ranunculus for their personal flowers. The venue was decorated with red lilies and yellow dill.

When I first got the pictures, I had to do a double take as it looked like a Martha Stewart Real Weddings photo shoot and took me a couple of seconds to realise that oh-my-goodness, they're our flowers!!!

Forget me not

A funeral tribute today of gentle wildness for a lady who had eyes as blue as forget-me-nots and a streak of mischief in her.
